Great pet backpack! Make sure that it is secured, before venturing out! We absolutely love this backpack for our cat! Especially love that it has five doors that unzip and open fully and a front pocket for treats or your keys and phone. In fact all of those things can fit into the front pocket easily together. It is especially roomy and the materials are nice and not cheap looking at all. It has great breathability for your pet and would be fine for a fat big cat or small dog too. We also love the top visor rolls up or down and can be velcro back. As we live in Texas and it can get very hot here and the sun is intense and likely very uncomfortable for your pet. We used to have the moonroof backpack for another pet, which we also loved, however our cat cried a lot in it and we think it’s because the sun got in so much through the dome that it made him uncomfortable. Though it was so cute. Our new kitty is about 8 pounds and very, very tall. This backpack will work fine as our cat grows, since he is only 7 mo. old.The only thing I would say to watch out for, is be very sure to use the buckles to secure the zippers, which this backpack uniquely offers. We have been using this backpack for about two months at least once a day for walks with our kitty and to take it to the vet and on car rides. Tonight of all nights on a walk, about seven blocks from our home the cat jumped out! It scared the heck out of us and fortunately we were able to scoop her up somewhat quickly afterward. Thank goodness bc there are lots of dogs and coyote bear where we live. The makers of this product are well prepared for this and they gave buckles for all of the zippers to give you even extra security. We were not using the buckles at all really, even though we’ve used this backpack about 50 times now. We won’t make that mistake again. It would be terrible if you were out on a hike somewhere, or out of town and lost your pet due to not fastening the buckles to securing the zippers, when the extra security is offered. So be warned folks. Double check all the zippers are closed fully, since there are so many doors on this cat backpack, and secure the zippers with the buckles, if you are in any doubt, or traveling about away from home or near other wild animals. We love this backpack and it is comfortable on my 6’3” husband and myself at 5’8” athletic build bodies. One person found this helpful
